Panagis excites the public of the capital city
“Go out there and thrill me.“
Roger Moore
Coutalianos arrives in Piraeus and begins a series of appearances in theaters in both Piraeus and Athens. The audience is enthusiastic about it and the tickets are sold out.

A few words about An. Tsocha and his theater.
The businessman An. Tsochas (1840-1904) opened a theater in Piraeus, where Kanari Square is today. This theater was designed by the great German architect Ernst Moritz Theodor Ziller (1837-1923). It opened its doors in June 1885 and many famous artists took to its stage. In February 1886, arsonists set the theater on fire, but An. Tsochas, undaunted, rebuilt and reopened it.
